The Abbey of the Way: Like the early Celtic Abbey houses of prayer and hospitality, The Abbey provides a refuge for followers of Jesus to rest, reflect, and grow in their relationship with God and service to Him and to others. The Abbey offers space for personal or group retreats, led or hosted by staff and volunteers. Through prayer gatherings, spiritual direction or mentoring, Christian Spiritual Formation events, and online presentations and conversations, we help leaders to discern, learn, and walk in The Way of Jesus even as they help others to do likewise.

PAX Center is a Christian spiritual formation center committed to integrating spiritual formation into the life of worshiping communities. PAX is committed to a three-fold vision that offers: PAX Rhythm — Christian spiritual practices designed to help you create intentional rhythms of spending time with God; PAX Institute — Programs designed to nourish and equip participants to facilitate spiritual formation ministries in their churches; PAX Partners — A network of pastors and spiritual directors working together to establish and support the ministry of spiritual formation within the life of the local church. PAX envisions the ministry of spiritual formation as a place of peace and offers the spiritual companionship of one another.
The Pilgrimage: The metaphor of life as journey might be a little cliche at this point, although, like many cliches, it works. Life as pilgrimage takes the metaphor a little further. A pilgrimage is a holy, faith-honing trek, on which the pilgrim pursues a path others have taken before, in their own intentional pursuit of God. The Pilgrimage aims to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to facilitate people’s spiritual transitions, so that ultimately we stay on the Way and arrive at the true Destination, too. Jennifer Layte is a spiritual director and chaplain, and the developer of The Pilgrimage (humanly speaking, anyway).
