Hopkinton Combined Christian Service
Churches working together, in “Christian verbiage”, is called Kingdom work. It often takes looking beyond normal "church ways” to do this. Yet so much more value can be gained by reaching out in more ways to our community, the world, and those in the churches.
The Hopkinton churches have a history of doing this and Covenant Community Church, St. Paul’s Church and The Sanctuary at Woodville have done much of this working together over these past few years.
Some examples include Martin Luther King Jr. Day, when we come together at the middle school to assemble care bags for cancer patients, as well as hosting monthly community dinners at St. Paul's to support refugee ministry, giving to disaster relief, hosting community plays that support social outreach, and much more.
During this time of social distancing during a pandemic, we are again coming together to bring a regular Sunday service to our community. We are offering a weekly service online via HCAM-TV that is filled with the rich theologically sound traditions of the three churches, as well as other traditions at times. This is a rare time to experience how God works in a time of unknowns.
Churches are a vital part of our society. They are often the very first to lend a helping hand during times of extraordinary need, such as these, and to tend to the day-to-day needs of those in crisis. We welcome you, if you feel so led, to donate to any and all of these three churches (links below). One single donation made to all three churches is divided equally among the three churches to help with their ministry needs.
All your donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your consideration.
