We need dialogue — not debate — now more than ever. In an increasingly polarized society, we must seek out new and creative ways to bring people together when the issues of the modern day world continue to rapidly tear us apart.
The Sanctuary at Woodville invites you to join us for our “Community Dialogue” series on the first Saturday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. ET.
It is a regular gathering open to the public intended to encourage listening and respectful discussion about the most prominent issues in modern day society. Admission is free and light refreshments will be available. A light lunch will also be served at noon for those who would like to stick around and continue the conversation.
These dialogues are led by Gethin Coolbaugh (pictured above), the Director of Dialogues and Communication at The Sanctuary at Woodville, as well as various invited guests.
“We spend too much time engaged in debate when we should be engaging in dialogue,” Coolbaugh said. “The inspiration for these monthly dialogues is to bring people from all walks of life to the table with hope of furthering a greater collective understanding.”
